This lovely lady is Ms. Agnes Marie – just Agnes to her friends. Agnes is estimated to be 12+ years old. She is a red smooth coat Dachshund. Agnes is very active for her age, she loves to investigate. She truly enjoys investigating in the fenced yard at her foster home. If there is no fenced yard, Agnes definitely needs to be on a leash, her nose guides her and she could be in another county before she even looks up. When not investigating, Agnes is burrowed under a blanket somewhere napping – napping is her second favorite thing to do! She’s doing well with her housebreaking; she uses both pads and loves to go outside. She would absolutely benefit from being on a regular schedule which does not require her to go long periods without being able to go out. Agnes definitely prefers dogs her own size, she can be a bit bossy if she feels the need. Kitties and small children are definitely not her favorites either. Agnes doesn’t have any teefers so just soften up her food a bit and she’ll take it from there! Agnes is an absolute delight, who’ll keep you smiling! BONDED PAIR. MUST BE PLACED TOGETHER
Please note we only place ours dogs within 1 hour drive of Albany, NY
Moose (4, male, 8lbs) and Coco (4, female, 7lbs), a bonded pair of yorkie mixes who are adorable, they came into rescue as owner surrenders and have made a huge impact on everyone they meet. They have a rare condition called “canine love-i-tis” and it causes them to love every human and animal they meet. Immediately. Side effects include constant face licking, squeals of joy when you arrive. Older children 8 and up.
Both are housebroken, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, come when called, and love to be with their humans.
Look who was the star of tonight’s Oet Connection!
Oh the stories Felicia could probably tell you living in a hoarding situation. Thankfully she is safe now. Felicia came to us with 3 puppies that she cared for beautifully. It is now her time to find her place to live. Being only 3-4 years old and our best guess is a mixed breed that weighs about 17 pounds. She is working on housebreaking ( doing fabulous) and leash walking. She gets along with other dogs and cats. Due to the environment she came from she will need a calm quiet home with older children and a fenced in yard .For more information please email email@example.com or submit an application online by going to freetobemerescue.org
Look into their puppy eyes and tell me you haven’t fallen in love! Say hello to Snuggles and Downy.... they are 12-13 week old female Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix. Same litter but boy look so different! They are your typical puppies at this point learning how to walk on a leash, housebreaking, not to chew on everything and to come when called. They get along with other dogs and cats. Recommend older children to to their size. For more information please email firstname.lastname@example.org or go to freetobemerescue.org to submit an application online.
Look who was on Pet Connection tonight!
Meet and Greet scheduled with a pre approved application.
Please note we only place our dogs within a 1 hour drive of Albany NY.
We are 10-11 week old lab mixes. We are typical puppies who love to play and run around eat sleep and repeat. We are learning housebreaking and leash training.
