Dion was taken in and loved and vetted by a wonderful couple. Unfortunately Dion and the resident cat did not get along at all, even after trying everything possible. The owners sadly surrendered Dion to the rescue with the hopes that he would find the perfect home….with NO CATS. He is a very affectionate boy who loves people but we’re suggested older children, since he will occasionally give little “love nibbles” when he wants your attention. Dion loves to play with his little catnip pillow and will follow you around like a little shadow. He just loves his human friends.

Dion is a special needs cat. When he was found outside, his eyes were just slits. After seeing a vet, he was neutered and vaccinated, he had surgery on both eyelids. Surgery was successful but he will probably always need drops put in his eyes.

From his previous owners: Dion came to our front door crying for food, and looking to be visually impaired. Once we were able to get him inside and treated at our Vet, he was diagnosed with a major case of Entropion. He has since been neutered, up to date on all shots, and successfully underwent surgery on both eyes (upper and lower lids). Dion is fully recovered, and incredibly sweet, offering kisses and purring constantly. Unfortunately, he has to be an only cat as he did not get along at all with our three cats.
Whomever chooses to take Dion home will be getting a loving little man who has a lot to say, especially when it comes time for food. He will happily shower you with kisses, and the occasional love bite.
We don’t know what he went through before coming to our front door, and we hope he can be offered a home that can love, and spoil him in a way he deserves to be.
