| Once Penelope feels safe and secure, she is a sweetheart. Her foster mom said it took almost 3 days before Penelope came out of the bathtub! Another couple of days she hid behind a cabinet and would hiss and growl. Another couple of days and she was out rubbing against Mom's legs. Now Mom is petting a purring little girl and she loves getting on Mom's lap and curling up. Penelope loves toys now and can be heard playing with her balls and circle toy. Whoever adopts her will need just a little bit of patience and an understanding that this cranky little girl will morph into a loving cat. | |
