| Finley (about 3) was being take care of by a woman who found him as a stray but knew he wasn't feral because he was just too gentle. She couldn’t keep him and reached out for help. Finley went into a foster home and was found to be very sweet but extremely shy. He doesn’t seem to have a mean bone in his body and welcomes all petting and belly rubs. Finley will need a quieter home with people who will give him time to adjust. He has gotten very affectionate with his foster mom and greets her at the door to his room every morning. But with people who come for meet and greets, he is still very shy and nervous. A patient person who will give Finley time to settle in will have an amazing little buddy.This means no small children. He seems to want to be with other cats but his foster mom's other foster is a bit of a bully. Because Finley lived outdoors for quite a while, he might very well be a "door dasher', so adopters will have to be very careful with him near doors. He absolutely loves his window perch and cat trees where he can see all the birds and squirrels and chipmunks in the backyard.
